Jelly Roll’s “Need a Favor” tops Billboard’s Country Airplay chart for the upcoming week of August 12 from his album “Whitsitt Chapel.”

The singer-songwriter, whose real name is Jason DeFord, got his first number one country hit in January 2023 with “Son of a Sinner.”

His hit song “Need a Favor” ends a three-month tie for the number one spot between Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs, who previously held the position with “Last Night” and “Fast Car.” Speaking to Billboard, Jelly Roll says “Need A Favor” has “changed his life,” and he’s seen how music has impacted people across the country.
