Luke Combs invited a boy on stage to sing “Fast Car.”
Cooper Massengil, an eight-year-old cancer survivor, idolizes Combs, and meeting him was his top wish. Cooper, diagnosed with leukemia at 3, bravely fights the illness with multiple surgeries.
Combs welcomed Cooper on stage during his performance in Foxborough, Massachusetts. After hearing about his journey, Make-A-Wish decided to fulfill Massengil’s very personal request to see Combs in person.
“Everyone was calling my name as I approached, shouting. It felt amazing,” remarked Cooper. Luke Combs is on tour through mid-October as part of his 2023 World Tour.
