Over the weekend of April 15th 2023, Parmalee and Jelly Roll played in Country Thunder in Arizona.
Something country fans may or may not know is that Parmalee and Jelly Roll have been buddies for a long time.
Before Country Thunder in an interview Parmalee told in an interview that they were previewing something special that night.
“We got a brand-new song we’re playing. We did a song with our buddy Jelly Roll,” they said prior to taking the stage. “We’re going to be debuting at Country Thunder today. So we’re doing that. We got some more songs we’re doing. It’s going to be fun! We got a lot of stuff coming out.”
The song “Boots On Broadway” will be the first studio collaboration for the longtime friends.
