Dan + Shay joined Charlie Puth on a new song called “That’s Not How This Works.”
The mid-tempo song written by Puth, Dan Smyers, and Jordan Reynolds is about someone who just broke up with someone and can’t get over it.
He tries to move on, but his attempts fail because his ex-girlfriend keeps teasing him about getting back together.
“That’s Not How This Works” is Dan + Shay’s first new song since their Good Things album came out in 2021.
