Ashley McBryde and Carly Pearce won a grammy for “Never Wanted to Be That Girl,” a chart-topping duet from Pearce’s 29: Written In Stone album.
The song won Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the Grammy Awards in February.
The image she paints of herself and Pearce celebrating their Grammy win is simply precious.
In an interview with Taste of Country McBryde explained what their plan is.
“What I know for sure is — Carly and I agreed to it the night we won — that when our Grammys come in we’re going to have a tea party, just like little girls. We’re going to set them and our awards from “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” around and we’re going to drink tea, or whatever it is, from a tea cup and just have a tea party”, said McBryde.
