Tim McGraw has been a longtime fan favorite, but this story here makes us love him more!

In Wellington, Florida a 37-year-old father of two Michael Hugo was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma.

According to the Mayo Clinic, a Glioblastoma is aggressive and often terminal form of brain cancer. The five-year survival rate for this form of cancer is around five percent.

A local ABC affiliate, 25 WPBF News, Hugo knew the statistics were not showing they’d be in his favor, so he began writing letters for his two daughters who are currently six and seven.

He wrote these letters to be read at various milestones over the course of their lives.

Hugo felt a special connection to McGraw due to the fact the country star lost his father to a malignant brain tumor.

Hugo decided he was going to post a video on social media, hoping that it would eventually meet McGraw and he could help make his dreams come true.

He hoped that McGraw could record a duet with him for his daughter’s weddings.

“One of my dreams is to be with my little girls for their wedding, and be there … dancing with them,” Hugo explains in the video, adding that he hopes to sing McGraw’s hit “My Little Girl” as a duet with him and use the video for his daughters’ big days.

The video went viral, and McGraw answered the call.
