The University of Tennessee Knoxville is continuing to grow and battling high enrollments.
So, the university decided to add two new colleges to the campus!
UTK’s Board of Trustees approved new colleges on campus and the school’s master plan.
Currently UT’s School of Music is in the College of Arts and Sciences, but now the School of Music will soon be a stand-alone college.
The College of Music will be the first in the SEC and to be at a public university.
The Board of Trustees also approved the campus master plan to address infrastructure needs.
