Back in March, Kacey Musgraves released her album “Deeper Well.”
On that album she has a song called “Irish Goodbye.”
An Irish Goodbye is when someone leaves an event/party/gathering without saying bye to anyone. Essentially slipping out while going unnoticed.
In a recent interview, Kacey said she is in full support of Irish Goodbyes and thinks it’s a perfectly acceptable thing but it’s horrible in a romantic setting.
In her song “Irish Goodbye,” she sings about it in a romantic way, describing a sad way to end a relationship.
