We have all read the crazy stories about fans in the audience throwing things at performers.
Well, Lainey Wilson had a similar experience, but someone actually spit on her instead.
Lainey said she was in the middle of performing “Heart Like A Truck” when all of a sudden someone just spits on her.
Lainey said she wanted to go down into the crowd and figure out who it was, but she just kept going instead.
On Taste of Country Nights On Demand, Lainey says:
“I saw it coming through the air. It was like I made eye contact with the spit, and it just lands on me and I’m just like, (sings) ‘I got a heart like a truck.’ That’s how I felt.”
We are so proud of Lainey for keeping her composure because we would’ve lost our minds!
