We shared with you on Friday what Zach Bryan posted on Twitter about Tyler Childers.
The whole reasoning behind Bryan’s tweet is because it took country radio 10 years to play Childers’ music.
“Imagine being radio (whoever the hell that is), hearing Shake the Frost and being like, ‘no no let’s go with the Applebees song,‘” Bryan tweeted.
While Zach Bryan claims he meant well, he did take a dig at Walker Hayes.
Once the country music community started seeing Zach Bryan’s tweet, he quickly back pedals.
“Not insulting anyone,” he responded to feedback that he had done Walker “dirty.” “Meant it with humor not malice, different strokes different folks.”
Walker Hayes responded back to the tweet in the best way possible:
“Big shout to radio for playing dat Applebees song,” he writes. “Zach and Tyler praying y’alls continued success.”
