Gabby Barrett has defended her religious views on marriage, despite criticism.
During a podcast appearance with Hannah Love, Barrett revealed that she values her relationship with the Lord the most.
She emphasized that her priority is having a “Godly marriage” and that she is trying to do the best with what she has been given for Him.
“I treasure my marriage and my relationship with the Lord the most,” Barrett said. “I have tons of people that say to me, or have texted me, or commented about me and said, “She’s ruining her career by talking about these things’ and by X, Y, and Z.” Barrett and fellow American Idol alum Cade Foehner met in 2018 and married in 2019.
