We told you back in October that Jelly Roll was kicking off what he hoped would be “the biggest toy drive in Nashville history.”
So how did it go?
While we can’t confirm it was the biggest in Music City history, Jelly’s toy drive was still a huge success; he sent one of the tractor trailers from his recent “Backroad Baptism” tour to The Last Minute Toy Store in Nashville, which provides free Christmas gifts and toys to children throughout Middle Tennessee.
The semi was full of donated toys – enough to provide Christmas gifts for nearly 8,000 children! On top of that, JR pledged $100,000 of his own money to the cause.
Jelly Roll: good guy!
