Major League Baseball’s Winter Meetings are being held in Nashville this year, and part of that is figuring out which MLB team drafts first, which one second and so on.
The MLB Draft Lottery is like Powerball, with the draft order determined by a ping-pong ball draw.
This year, the host for the event was Brad Paisley, because..well, no one’s really sure.
Because…Nashville?
Why not Brett Young, who pitched for Ole Miss before being injured, or even Garth Brooks, who famously has taken part in several MLB spring trainings?
