Some country stars pop champagne when they hit #1.
Some throw a party.
And while Russell Dickerson may do both of those things at some point, after he hit #1 for the fifth time in his career with “God Gave Me A Girl,” his reaction was a little…unique.
The obviously over-the-moon singer filmed himself (presumably) immediately after he got the good news, running around and laughing maniacally.
“We freakin’ did it, fam! We did it! We got the #1 song on country radio!” He posted the clip to Instagram, adding, “WE FREAKING DID IT FAM!!!!!!! GOD GAVE ME A GIRL IS THE #1 SONG ON COUNTRY RADIO!!!!! Thank you JESUS! Thank you country radio for believing in me and this song. Thank you Triple Tigers Records and the entire Team RD for absolutely dominating! To my gorgeous wife @kaileydickerson for all the inspiration every single day.
