Harriman, Tennessee is not too far away from Knoxville!

Sharrieffa Barksdale is a 1984 400m hurdle Olympian, and she graduated from Harriman High School!

After her major accomplishments in the 1984 Olympics, Harriman High School and the community named the track and a street in honor of her.

Barksdale loves Harriman and wants to restore the track, so she decided to create a fundraiser.

She is organizing an event that will have three country singers – Charise Miles, Sharane Calister and Tracielynn!

The fundraising event is called “One Step Closer” and will be at the Princess Theatre in Harriman, Tennessee!

The event will start at 7PM on September 23rd.

Their goal is to raise $250,000 and tickets are available online HERE.
