We’ve been playing Jason Aldean’s new hit “Try That In A Small Town” and we love it!
But apparently CMT doesn’t feel the same way.
The music video for Aldean’s new hit was released Friday (July 14) and aired through the weekend.
But with no explanation or reasoning CMT pulled Aldean’s music video and refuses to let it air.
CMT has refused any comments as to why they pulled it from showing, but Aldean’s has taken his thoughts to social media.
In response, Aldean said on Instagram “I have been accused of releasing a pro-lynching song (a song that has been out since May) and was subject too the comparison that I (direct quote) was not too pleased with the nationwide BLM protests. These references are not only meritless, but dangerous”
