The month of June is National Foster Pet Month and Young-Williams Animal Center is asking people for help!

Young-Williams Animal Center is asking the community to bring a pet home to try fostering in National Foster Pet Month.

Fostering is such a good way to decide if you are ready and capable of bringing home and caring for a pet. Plus who doesn’t love a furry friend!

“You can help them wait for their forever home,” Chastedy Smith with Young-Williams said. “You can also help us learn more about that animal in a home environment so they can be more adoptable.”

“We’re encouraging people to come in, learn more about what we do, so sign up to foster. It’s very fun,” Smith said.

Young-Williams says fosters help them every year by making room for the other animals coming in, and to keep their promise of being a no-kill animal shelter.
