As we all know, inflation has been at an all time high, and now inflation has hit college tuition too.
Students of UTK and UTC could possibly be paying more to attend school.
The Board of Trustees of The University of Tennessee is set to vote on the possible tuition increase on June 30th.
If the board decides to pass the increase it would increase a student’s tuition by 3%, $300.
The University of Tennessee says that the current funding from the state and donors is not keeping pace with inflation and employe salaries.
