This summer the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) is helping provide healthy meals and snacks to children and teens in low-income areas.

Meals can be eaten in-person and on site, or you can take it to go!

Steps to participate:

  1. Visit the USDA Summer Food Service Program website HERE

2. Find a summer site in your area with the Summer Meal Site Finder mapping tool

3. Once you are on the site finder tool, type in your areas zip code. Once you do so, you will be able to see sites near you. If you don’t try to expand the miles for better reach.

4. If you still are stuck and need help, you can text “Summer Meals” to 914-342-7744 OR call 1-866-348-6479.

If you or someone you know is seeking food assistance for their children can also contact the USDA National Hunger Hotline.

The hotline is open Monday-Friday between 7AM to 10PM.

Call 1-866-3-HUNGRY (1-866-348-6479) (for English) or 1-877-8-HAMBRE (1-877-842-6273) (for Spanish)
