Pretty sure any country music fan knows one song by Rascal Flatts.
The band decided to call it quits with one last hoorah farewell tour. But the pandemic wiped those plans completely out, and now members of the band are just living life and doing their own thing.
Gary LeVox, was the lead vocalist for the band and is currently on a short headlining tour, and continues to work on new music.
LeVox did an interview with CountryNow about what life is like after the Rascal Flatts called it quits and this is what he said.
“If this new chapter is as good as the last chapter, I mean, I don’t know what else I can wish for. I still pinch myself, you know, so I mean, I don’t know. I think that the main thing is just to be able to create music still that touches people’s lives and just create timeless stuff that tells their story and has hope and healing and sadness and all of it. I just want to cut, and write songs that everybody can relate to. That’s pretty much the goal.”
LeVox also has a gospel EP out and a couple of country tunes.
“Yes, ’cause I’ve always kind of dabbled in it and it’s just a part of who I am, but yeah, always. There’ll be something in there for sure. There’s stuff brewing.”
“It’s gonna be really, really good. I’ll probably come out with another up-tempo thing and then the fall, you just wait and see.”
LeVox said he is not learning more towards either genre right now, he is just writing and living life.
