Shania Twain is channeling her ‘inner mermaid’.
On Thursday, Twain posted on Instagram to share some pictures of a recent photoshoot for Rollacoaster Magazine debuting her new hair.
“I have always enjoyed playing with fashion and the shoot for [Rollacoaster Magazine] was no exception!” she captioned the post before thanking and tagging the photographer, designers, makeup artist and stylist responsible for the final look. “Thank you to the wonderful team who put this together.”
In the comments, fans were divided over Twain’s new hair.
One comment says “Sorry, not into the red hair!” and another commenter wrote, “That is not my Shania Twain. Sorry.”
Not all the comments were negative on the post, some weighed in with praise for Twain taking “beauty risks”.
“It’s giving ‘The Little Mermaid’ vibes. I think it’s so cute that you’re taking all these fashion and beauty risks and trying to shake things up. Keep doing your thing and forget the haters!” a fan commented.
