A duo on the Lady Vols’ team received First Team All-SEC honors by the league’s coaches.
Seniors Jordan Horston (guard) and Rickea Jackson (forward) are the two that received the award.
This is the second consecutive season for Horston to receive the award, and to become the fourth Tennessee player to earn first-team honors since 2012 joining Meghan Simmons, Isabelle Harrison and Rennia Davis.
Jackson, a transfer from Mississippi State, was named to the first-team all-conference squad for the first time in her basketball career. While playing for the Bulldogs in 2019-20 season she was a second-team selection.
Lady Vols, LSU, and South Carolina all have multiple first-team all-conference players in 2023.
