With the release of his new holiday album, Merry Christmas, Y’all, on Friday (October 21), Thomas Rhett is ringing in the holiday season early. Rhett covers “Winter Wonderland,” “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” and “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” on the EP, which Dan Huff produced. Keeping the songs traditional Rhett used a big band sound with a country flair. Most fans were surprised by the Christmas album from Rhett, who announced it a day before its release. “I love everything about Christmas — there’s nothing like the holiday season,” Rhett says via press release. “I wanted to record some of the Christmas songs that my family and I enjoy every year. I hope this music gets everyone in the holiday spirit!”
