Picking a first dance song for your wedding is no easy task especially now that their is a new survey that can tell which songs that lead to a happy or an unhappy marriage. The UK survey found that 77% of couples who dance to Elton John’s “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” say they are the most happy. Other first dance songs that produced happy couples are:

  • Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” (75%)
  • Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight” (74%)
  • Lea Salonga & Brad Kane’s “A Whole New World” (71%)
  • Etta James’ “At Last” (71%)
  • Phil Collins’ “You’ll Be In My Heart” (70%)

Unfortunately for couples, 75% of them who danced to One Direction’s “Little Things” are most likely to end up unhappy, separated or divorced. Other songs in this category include:

  • Jason Maraz’s “I’m Yours” (61%)
  • Snow Patrol’s “Chasing Stars” (56%)
  • Randy Newman’s “You’ve Got a Friend In Me” (52%)
  • Michael Bublé’s “Everything” (49%)
  • Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” (42%)

For the most part, if you choose a Disney song to dance to at your wedding, you’ll most likely be happy!
