SpaceX Becomes First Private Company To Launch Astronauts Into Space

America made history once again on Saturday, May 30th at 3:22pm by launching two American’s into space. NASA teamed up with private company SpaceX for a successful launch that was seen around the world. The teams attempted takeoff earlier in the week but the project was scrubbed due to weather but thankfully the following Saturday brought clear skies to send the American astronauts Doug Behnken and Bob Hurley into space. Thanks to technology we have today, we were able to follow their journey from arriving on site in Florida to docking Dragon at the International Space Sation.
