The first wave of Walt Disney World reopening will happen on Wednesday, May 20th. While there is no date set for the reopening of the actual theme park, Disney Springs will be the first to open it’s doors.
In three days 117 custodians who were furloughed, will be able to return to work. The first phase only has sub-contracted shops reopening with Disney retail shops and dining to open seven days later.
Guest and Employees will be required to wear masks, guests temperatures will be checked before entering, plexiglass dividers have been installed at registers and guests will have to swipe their own cards.
