Finally! Ever send a text message with an accidental auto-correct (Think Duck)? Well you may be able to edit iMessages soon according to Appleinsider.
According to an Apple patent application, images show that when you hold down on a message that has already been sent, a new option has been added “EDIT”.

However, don’t expect to be able to take back a text you didn’t mean to send to someone. According to the patent, edited messages will be marked as such and there may even be an option for the recipient to see the unedited draft.
